Holy shit iconpost #50. Clearly I need a life.

I apologize for all the variations. For once I decided to try coloring a picture and THEN downsizing it to 100x100 instead of the opposite. Thus a lot of different crops of the same picture. Also apologizing for the X icons, cause I know everybody and their mothers have iconed the artbooks but lol I was trying to get my icon talent back (whatever talent is in me anyway.)

Coworker T and I are going to "hang out" next weekend, and suddenly my entire week-and-change seems brighter for it. It helps (perhaps not surprisingly) to talk to her in shared outrage about our mutually unpleasant position more than does almost anything else. As I was bemoaning to Dustin earlier, the trouble with biking is that, while liberating, exhilarating, enjoyable, desirable, well-spent and free, it still entails that I pass among the rest of the world at their mercy, they and their metal monstrosities with their cat-calling, honking, heckling, and the occasional item lobbed my way (though the last is rare). The world, you see, has a way of making one wish one hadn't had to deal with it, such that one might wish the streets were empty, thus allowing the maximum thrill of a bike-riding experience. So, despite the benefits, the possible consequences have a way every now and then of balancing out the good with bad.

This, however, this mutual catharsis, this determination to succeed, this motivates us both and I feel stronger for it.

Here's my second art meme for today! It's a clothing meme I filled with Fay. I even colored it, so I hope you like it.

I wrote this about a month ago for my friend. She was supposed to make a 12 page doujin of The World Ends with You. The problem was, she had never played the game and only knew the basics. So she asked me to come up with one for her. However, there was a catch (and a deadline). I had to keep spoilers to a minimum, thus striking any possible post-game ideas I had in mind off my list. x___x That's also why some parts may seem choppy (?) from time to time.

I eventually finished it, but by that time, my friend was loaded with work and couldn't finish the comic in time before her own deadline. I'm not totally sure what's going to happen to it now, whether she plans to continue the doujin or not... so anyway.
